The Kohtaamiskioski (Meetings Kiosk) serves as a meeting point and a pop-up kiosk, doubling as a public art installation accessible to everyone. Initially located in Helsinki’s Kalasatama district, our goal with Kohtaamiskioski was to establish a distinctive street furniture unit that harmonizes with its surroundings while encouraging people to engage with it.

We aimed to transform the common perception of construction sites and their unfinished appearance from negative to positive by drawing inspiration from their aesthetics for this installation. The modular design allows easy relocation to a different site, enabling a new structure to take form.

This installation was part of Kalasatama’s environmental art program.
