“Public places are communicating to us: what is this city like?”

Päivi is a designer and artist with over 10-years of experience in public art, placemaking and urban design. She is an expert in participatory planning and co-creation projects, from hands-on work to strategic planning. Päivi’s background in participatory arts and design practice has given her a strong set of tools on collaborative projects and facilitation. Päivi is passionate about creating more layers to cities and welcoming platforms for new encounters. In RaivioBumann Päivi is in charge of conceptual planning, new collaborations and project management.

Päivi holds a BA in Design and Public Art from the University of the Arts London and a Masters in Design and Applied Art of Aalto University. Päivi is an active member of placemaking networks and is a Placemaking Europe network leader for 2021. Päivi is the co-founder of Parkly.

Daniel is an artist and designer with a strong experience in making ideas work in real life. He has a background in theatre and set design, galleries and museums working in planning and building projects overseeing production and realisation. Daniel’s skills go hand in hand with creating better public places.

In RaivioBumann, Daniel is overseeing the product development, concept planning , manufacturing and implementation of projects. 

Born and raised in Bern, Switzerland Daniel studied in Bern and Vienna, before locating in Helsinki. Daniel is the co-founder of Parkly.
