Pollination Station communicates about urban nature, biodiversity and pollinators and about creative methods for urban change. Mobile Pollination Station has pollinator friendly plants, which easily attract the bees and other pollinators with colors and scents. The project includes arts and crafts workshops exploring and educating about urban nature themes with school children.
In 2019 we produced a large scale Pollination Station on top of a substation, an empty plot in downtown Helsinki. This time we wanted to experiment with mobility and highlight the themes such as how to create instant urban change and what kind of infrastructure we need in cities.
The project is part of Green Infra concept.
